Test drove a Genesis today. 2012 model. I was really impressed. A little throttle lag, but very smooth power, very comfortable cabin, lots of little extras, smooth handling though it feels a little heavy. Good visibility, nice sound system, backup camera.
So for fun I drove the R model with a 5L engine. Smooth, fast and responsive, all the bells and whistles, nice ride on bumpy roads, great car to drive. I was impressed by the two vehicles, especially at the price.
Used car reliability (CR) is above average for 2009 and 2014, average for 2011, 2013, 2015, and below average for 2010 and 2012 and owner satisfaction is basically 70% and above all years.
