Coca-Cola lies about plastic.

Sadly, Coca-Cola has fallen far short of its 2008 promise to put 25% recycled plastic in its bottles by 2015 - they only managed to get 7%.

At 12:03, they announce a bold initiative in Jan '18 to have 50% recycled materials by 2030. Coke used to come in glass bottles, and Coke suppressed a report they commissioned which concluded, at 19:51 in the video, that glass bottles are far more environmentally friendly than plastic.

Despite their bold recycling initiative, the company is busy going in exactly the opposite direction in their factory in Tanzania, currently re-tooling their factory there from glass bottles to plastic at great expense.
