Zoox Could Beat Uber into a self driving future

At 7:41 he summarizes why there are 3 detection systems:
Cameras are really good at distinguishing what's out there.
Radar is good at seeing how far away things are.
Lidar is good at telling where things are in 3D at high resolution.
